New publication in JOV: Adapting to blur produced by high order aberrations", Sawides et al

Using a perceptual blur judgement psychophysical paradigm, we found that observers can adapt to scaled versions of their aberrations, as well as other observer's aberrations. The shift of the perceptual focus point is proportional to the amount of blur in the adapting image. The study uses adaptive optics correct for the observer's aberration. Full reference:
