Students and post-doctoral researchers at the Institute of Optics (CSIC) launch a Student Chapter sponsored by the Optical Society of America. The inaugural event will take place on Tuesday (Feb 18th) with presentations from IOSA President (Sara Nuñez), IOSA Senior Supervisor (Prof. Susana Marcos), Institute of Optics Director (Prof. Javier Solis) and SEDOPTICA President (Prof. Concepcion Domingo). The Keynote lecture will be presented by Dr. Javier Santamaria (Sener Ingenieria y Sistemas) on "Research in Visual Optics at the Institute of Optics, CSIC, in the 70's and 80's".
