Announcements: Corneal biomechanical changes after collagen cross-linking from porcine eye inflation experiments, by S. Kling et al. published in Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science

Title

Corneal biomechanical changes after collagen cross-linking from porcine eye inflation experiments, by S. Kling et al. published in Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science

Body

With whole-eye-globe inflation we applied an alternative method to obtain Youngs Modulus from corneal tissue. We found that cross-linking treatment has a strong stiffening effect and acts very direction oriented. (S. Kling, L. Remon, A. Pérez-Escudero, J. Merayo-Lloves and S. Marcos)
