Lourdes

Lourdes Llorente.  Research Assistant.(Optometry Degree, 1996),  Lourdes  joined the Institute of Optics  in 1999. She is involved in patient management, data collection, processing and handling. She is also an external graduate student at City University, London. Her main research interest is myopia development. She is investigating the sources of optical aberrations in myopes, as opposed to hyperopes and emmetropes. She has also worked on the effect of wavelength, polarization and sampling pattern on the measurement of aberrations. She was a summer student at David Williams' lab at the University of Rochester in 2002.
